Did you ever wish that you had that perfect
painting or pencil portrait of your one-and-only or family member? Could you just kick yourself for never getting that prized
portrait of someone...only left with a few snapshots? Is there a friend or family member, who has passed away, that you
would love to honor?
Artist, Neil Shaw's specialty is combining several photos to create one unique "dream
portrait" pencil sketch or oil painting, which can last generations. Here is an actual scenario:
Neil was
approached to create a one-of-a-kind pencil portrait, taken from several photos. The son wanted to surprise his elderly parents.
When his parents were first married, they didn't have a lot of money, so they never had a decent wedding photo
taken. Neil took separate photos of them and sketched them nestled together, as husband and wife. Neil
and client, collaborating together, created a wedding "dream portrait" The parents were surprised
and emotional on their anniversary. And, as a bonus, their hearts were forever relieved of that regret of "never
getting that cherished photo". The parents were very moved by this loving gesture of their children. They did
good!
Did you ever get that photo sitting on your Grandmother's lap? Was a loved one unable to make it to
the wedding, so they were in none of the photos? Would you like a hand-rendered wedding portrait? Use your imagination
and allow Neil Shaw to create that dream portrait pencil sketch or oil painting for you and your family.
Once
Neil is finished with your portrait, he digitally can capture and archive the image for Giclee prints. Then, archival fine art prints can be mailed to friends and family as gifts for any
occasion. Neil Shaw will send out these prints with a personal note from you. All prints are signed by Neil, complete with
a signed certificate of authenticity.
This is a fun and enjoyable process, especially when surprising someone!
Neil keeps the experience fun. He will not settle until you are completely satisfied. Neil states, "It's
going to be my work on their wall, and my name on that work for years to come. Every time they look at it, I want them
to feel good!" (see tesimonials)
