This is a beautiful Giclee tropical print of a Hawaiian moonlit beach with backlit palm trees and shimmering tropical island mountain ridges. The calm blue rolling surf seems to leisurely lap up onto the peaceful, unspoiled beach. Shaw’s intent with this tropical island print was to give the feeling of quiet solitude in the early morning hours.

One of the best features of this tropical print is how, under an accent light, the island moon, the palm tree backlighting, the mountain ridges and general highlights tend to “pop” or “illuminate”.

The original oil painting was painted on a 36”x36” fine art canvas. The original was then digitally replicated in high-definition. The image is sprayed onto a fine art canvas or paper. Shaw writes, “Looking at a blown-up canvas tropical print with a magnifying glass, I can not see a pixel…only brush strokes. The prints are that amazing.”

This makes for a very remarkable print quality, which is hard to tell from the original.
